Cook your Catch: Summer Redfish

Round out your summer menu with this simple redfish recipe courtesy of the MudbuMs.


The redfish. You may also know it as a red drum, channel bass, puppy drum, spot tail bass, or just plain old red. But no matter what you call it, there’s no denying that this mild, sweet-tasting fish makes one tasty meal. 


4 redfish fillets

1 stick butter

Tony Chachere’s Cajun Seasoning

Lemon pepper


Remove half shell and butter the bottom of the pan. Next, pour the melted butter over the filets. Sprinkle Tony’s and lemon pepper over top for an extra kick. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve and accept all of the incoming compliments graciously.
