Alternator belt 8M0232583 is for 135-200hp 4-cylinder Verado outboards (serial No. 1B311420 and above), 200-300hp 6-cylinder Verado outboards (serial No. 1B390143-2B144127, prior to Gen V), 200-300hp 6-cylinder Verado outboards (serial No. 2B144123 and above, Gen V), 350-400hp 6-cylinder Verado outboards (serial No. 2B141617 and above). It is the same belt as installed by Mercury Marine. See your owner's manual or service manual for specific applications. Replace worn or damaged belts to maintain proper function of engine systems driven by the belt. Easy to install using common tools.
