Lower shift cable kit 8M0176525 is for MerCruiser sterndrives MC-I, R, MR, Alpha One and Alpha One Gen II (1978 and newer). Kit contains cable, o-rings, gaskets, connectors and bellows. These cables are built for long life and maximum performance in all weather conditions to below -18°C. They employ layered technology structure to create a smooth operating, durable control cable. Remove old or damaged cable and replace new cable in reverse order. Easy to do with common tools. Shift cable cannot be repaired, only replaced.
