Intuitive, innovative features

Quick-connect battery

The 1 kWh lithium-ion battery has no cables to connect. It slides into place under the flip-up top cowl, saving you valuable space within the boat. Need to go even farther? No problem. You can bring along an available spare battery that swaps into place in seconds.

Transverse flux motor

The industry-first transverse flux motor generates high torque with little effort, for quick acceleration. With an efficient overall design, you can enjoy full, exciting days on the water.

Multi-purpose tiller handle

The Avator tiller was designed to let anyone take the helm with confidence. It adjusts up, down, to the left or right for comfortable steering from any position or with either hand, and it folds down to become a convenient carrying handle.

High-efficiency prop

Available in three pitches, the Avator prop is crafted from a high-strength, impact-resistant composite material. It’s three-blade design is optimised for efficiency to help extend battery life. Shape

Range & runtime

Based on testing with a 13-foot Veer™ V13 boat (382-pound dry weight), the Avator 7.5e electric outboard can run for 60 minutes or 5 miles at constant full throttle, with one fully charged 1kWh battery, and up to 19 hours or 34 miles at a constant 25% throttle. Range and runtime may vary. Environmental conditions, boat type and load can influence performance.

With its whisper-quiet motor and ultra-smooth performance, a Mercury Avator electric outboard will get you where you are going without interrupting the conversation. The 7.5e outboard is four times quieter to the operator than a 3.5hp four-stroke outboard at full throttle.

Avator displays

Vivid full-colour Avator displays make it easy to monitor the battery level, power, alerts, remaining runtime and more. On tiller models, the display is integrated on the outboard, while remote models pair with a helm display. Integrated GPS enables real-time speed and “distance-to-empty” estimates.

SmartCraft Connect and the Mercury Marine app

Download the Mercury Marine app for free to enjoy basic functionality, including a library of tutorials and the ability to connect with a preferred dealer for expert support. Adding a Mercury SmartCraft® Connect module to your 7.5e outboard lets you wirelessly connect it with the app, unlocking additional features like a GPS map with visualised range estimates and much more.

Safe, smart charging

Avator smart chargers constantly monitor the voltage and current to deliver a safe, effective charge. The Avator 7.5e outboard comes with a 110W charger that is ideal for packing in a carrying bag. You can also upgrade to a higher-speed charger for a charge time that meets your needs. All you need to charge is a standard household outlet.
