Dive into Mercury History at the New Mercury Marine Museum

Mercury's rich history comes to life in exhibits and interactive displays at the Mercury Marine Museum.

The new museum traces Mercury's heritage decade by decade from the birth of the company through World War II and into the present. You'll get the backstory on Mercury products that forever changed the marine industry and relive many of the company's historic boat racing victories.

You'll also uncover fascinating tales about Mercury and its history that helped make the company one of the most celebrated in the industry, including:

  • The mysterious "Lake X" Florida testing facility.
  • Company founder Carl Kiekhaefer's successful NASCAR run.
  • Mercury's forays into non-marine products: snowmobiles, chainsaws, motorized bikes, and even a prototype lawnmower.
